Toilet Arrest
Mood:  not sure
Topic: Current Events
A college kid was arrested for plugging a toilet with too much toilet paper. After hearing an interview this morning with the kid's grandmother, it seems that it was a bit of an accidental habit to use a lot of toilet paper, given his IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome) and has stopped the toilet at home a few occasions at home as well.

"If convicted, he could get up to six months in jail and a $1,000 fine."

After investing 24 million dollars in a rest stop facility, you'd think that they would've bought much better plumbing than that.

Costco to Sell Caskets
Mood:  caffeinated
Topic: Stores
I love Costco, I really do. It's the best place to supply beer for parties and a toilet paper for the family of ten. And seriously, where else nowadays can you procure a lunch containing a drink and a polish hotdog for only $1.50? Woo!

Approximately seven years ago or so, I joked with my friends that Costco was going to get so huge that they will take over the world, starting with gas stations. Well, a few years ago, they plopped one down twelve minutes from my house. At the time, truly I did find this ridiculous, though now it's just another everyday accepted thing.

But not ever did I expect Costco to start selling caskets!

Possibly worse than the old cat lady down the street?
While addressing a call made by neighbors complaining of a foul stench coming out of a woman's house, authorities found over 200 creatures alive and crawling the home... The live animals were also found to be fed dead animals (roadkills, she claimed) and "some were given to flesh-eating beetles."

Geeky Stuff
Special gift ideas for your special geek...

Forget those portable USB drive thingie-majiggies... Check out this lovely watch with 64MB USB Flash Drive! (Click pic to go to the site)

Or if the special geek in your life has gone off the deep end, perhaps this is a better gift...A watch that shows time - in binary! (Click pic to go to the site)

But wait...do you feel some kind of "relation" to the above links? You may want to test your Geek IQ to confirm the possible truth.

And lastly, a totally irrelevant but neat link that shows the before-and-after effects of that awful train bombing in North Korea here.

<-- all links above via my fellow geek friend Steve P. - thanks! -->
