So if employees are not doing anything they are not supposed to do, then why are they upset with their employers tracking their Internet usage?
When I work, I work. I limit Internet usage to only research work-related issues. I was never worried and felt that it was their full right for them to monitor the usage of their equipment. Sure I was paranoid about passwords and such(who wouldn't?), but to combat that I just made up new passwords for work only.
Anyway, bottom line is that by protesting this "invasion of privacy," employees are really incriminating themselves. On the other hand, employers must stick to the point of why they have implemented this process and should take great care to mind themselves from abusing this right.
